The Emporium

The Emporium is one of the growing political powers in Gamma Terra. It is housed in a secret liar built by the Old Ones. According to the members the Emporium was a center of technology and research by the old ones, and it houses their very spirits who grant it’s members profound wisdom. The Emporium serves as a city hall for the small town cleverly named The Emporiums Town. The Emporium rule with a light martial law, barring their gates and only allowing those to live amongst them who can contribute something to their civilization. The Emporium is made up of a 13 man council who all control a pool of votes agreed upon at the time they entered the council. These thirteen members all vote and determine the towns plans and fate. The Emporium has taken a kind of Spartan mind set in their belief that only the strong will survive. They even go so far as to send their children into the wastes to hunt and survive for three weeks to signify their coming of age. The Emporium will often dissolve lesser governments, taking those they see useful from these towns, and sometimes even those they see less useful to appease the ones they want, and then discarding the rest. These discarded civilians often hang around the outskirts of the emporium and have set up small shelters of their own, however receive no supplies or aid from the Emporium.
